Being a Teenage Parent

 

The Young People’s Project is a charity funded project based in Ilford that supports young people and parents under 20.

YPP is in touch with over 150 young parents. They run a wide variety of accredited courses, support sessions, training opportunities and personal development.

The Teenage Pregnancy Midwives run antenatal appointments from the Young People’s Project and BHRT has a contraception clinic on site on Fridays 2-4pm.

The reception area of YPP is a YPF site offering free condoms, information and referrals to young people.YPP also delivers part of the Chlamydia Screening programme in Redbridge.

New Potential is a social enterprise project based within YPP to deliver the RESPECT peer education SRE programme.

Teens & Tots is a Children’s Centre project run at Hainault Children’s Centre for young parents under 20, Wednesday’s 12-1.30pm.
