Teenage Pregnancy Midwives
At King George Hospital in Redbridge and Queens Hospital in Romford, there are Teenage Pregnancy Midwives to offer support specifically to pregnant teenagers who are under 18.
The GP will send a letter to the hospital and then the midwife will contact the young woman. If at this time the young person is 17 or under and having their baby at King George or Queens Hospital they will get an appointment to visit a Teenage Pregnancy Midwife.

If not they will be seen by the midwife from their own GP surgery.
Under 18’s having their babies at King George or Queens Hospital can make a self-referral to the Teenage Pregnancy Midwifery Team on 07974 971 853 / 0797 4971 848.
