A staggering 60% of young people responding to the www.youngpeoplefriendly.co.uk poll question “how old do you think most people in the UK are the first time that they have sex?” believed that it is just 13-15 years old.

In reality most people in this country are 16 or older the first time they have sex. We understand that young people experience a lot of pressure, from peers and the media, both real and perceived, to become sexually active at a young age.
